Christmas 2017 Wish List

Hey Mom, I’m glad you found this post (you and the four other people who read my blog). This is my very ambitious and fairly late wish list for the 2017 festive season.

I’ve provided you with gifts in a range of prices to suit any budget and every level of generosity. Some of these gifts can even be used by other members of the family! Bargain!

I’d love to hear what you guys are hoping to find under the tree this Christmas, or if you have any of these items, how you enjoy them, and if I should take the plunge and purchase them myself.

  1. NYX In Your Element Shadow Palette – R379.95

From nyxcosmetics.com

I fell in love with this palette on my recent trip to the NYX stand-alone store in Sandton City. It contains twelve beautiful foil-like shadows, all of which are unique and pigmented.

  1. Escada Joyful – R740.00
From escada-fragrances.com

I have been longing after this perfume for absolute ages. It’s a fun, fruity scent, which is on sale at Dischem for just over R600 at the moment.

  1. Hey Gorgeous 5 in 1 Derma Roller – R995.00
From hey-gorgeous.co.za

I am very interested in this product. Dermarolling is said to improve a number of skin conditions, ranging from scarring to enlarged pores to cellulite to wrinkles. I like the idea of being able to do this at home, safely, with this nifty little set of rollers.

  1. Fossil Campbell Crossbody in Alpine Green – R2 000.00

This could be MY bag. You know how every women needs a signature scent, lipstick and purse? This could be mine! It’s a teeny tiny forest over-the-shoulder bag that comes in a range of gorgeous colours. I think it’s a classic shape, perfect size and amazing colour.

  1. ghd Curve Clasic Curl Curling Tong – R2 399.00
From ghdhair.com

This is another item I have been eyeing for a while. Currently out of stock on the ghd website, this specific tong is the smaller of the two barrels, and creates the most beautiful curls. I currently own a ghd straightener that has performed really well over the few years I’ve owned it, and has been a great investment.

  1. Nespresso Citiz and Milk – R2 250.00

The way I see it, if I had this machine, I wouldn’t buy nearly as much coffee when I go out, and that way, this gift would slowly pay for itself… see what I did there? This lovely Nespresso machine allows you to make an type of coffee your heart desires, and would also mean I could have a pretty glass jar of little capsules brightening up the counter.
